MEXICO? When can I move?

Looking forward to moving to Mexico one of these days. I am a Mexican California woman living in the USA since I was five years old. One day soon, I want to move back to Mexico.

I came here when my Mom and Dad immigrated to California and started to attend school in San Jose, CA. I quickly had to learn the language as I only spoke English and it was quite a struggle for me (it still is). I cried when my Dad dropped me off at school (left me there). I was so sad and scared.

I finally grew to love school and was able to skip from 2nd grade to 3rd grade as I flourished in school. Then off to Middle School and High School.

After graduating from High School I knew that in order to get ahead in this great USA economy and as to not have to struggle like my parents did (working in the fields and canary)... I would have to go to college. I applied to a few local Universities and had to accept the financial burden of college was too great and decided to attend San Jose State University.

Now that I know what I know, I am very happy that I choose to stay local and save money by living at home while attending college. After graduating with a B.S. in Environmental Studies, I started to work in the field that I studied, which is normally unheard off. I have since then... many moons ago, had a career in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and I am getting to the point where I want to do something else. I know I accomplished a lot in the many years working in EHS, but I'd like to do something that is good for my community and my people (in Mexico). I want to move back to Mexico and see what life brings next. I know I skipped a bunch of other life steps here (my dear husband, my wonderful child), but I will eventually tell you my other life stories. Till then, have a great day!
